Subject: Fender Flares Rub Paint
IP: Logged

Message:
The rear fender flares on my 02 QC are rubbing the paint and are down to the primer in a couple of places. It is rubbing just above where the flare curves under the body. The front flares have a gap all the way around, but the rears do not. As a result, they touch the paint. Does anyone else have this problem with a Gen III Dakota? Has anyone found a fix for it? I could put a bolt or screw through the bottom of the flare, underneath the truck. That will keep the lower part of the flare from moving, but that will invite rust after a few winters.
