 Subject: Tail Gate Latch Fix

The only way to open my tail gate is to remove the plate and push the hinges or what ever they are called manually. Is there a cheap and easy fix for this?
Also my hood latch will not latch completly it is like I always have the hood poped.
If anyone has a tip to fix these please post it.

i have to open mine also the gate has to be slammed a couple of times to latch!ill fill you in unless you do it before me!then you can fill me in!
im busyier that a one legged man in an a$$ kicking contest!
