My truck hasn't missed any recommended maintenance. Radiator flushed every year for winter, motor oil changed every 3k miles with full synthetic. Oil in tranny changed and synthetic used, same with t-case, front end, and rear end...
I drive it like a Grandpa, let it warm up before driving, and when I have used it for a road trip, I set the cruise at, or right below speed limit. I'm still disappointed with its reliability. I didn't buy it because I wanted a hot-rod, I wanted a sporty truck to haul my dirt bikes.

I have surveyed all of the people I can find 'in person' around here, and am just hoping for some input from others online.
By no means do I want to belittle anyone, or offend them. Up until now, I have been very happy with the Dakotas I've had. I'm sure there are those that are still happy, and I am glad they are. I wish I were one of them (you?).
Perhaps I'm not posting in the right forum, being new to the site.
