Subject: atv in the box of my truck IP: Logged
Message: i just bought a polaris sportsman 500 and was wondering since its a pretty big quad if it may be to much for the suspension of my 93 x-cab dakota riding on stock supension. i put it in there a half hour ago and it lowers my truck a bit, i took the truck for a rip around town the quad in the back and everything feels ok but before i damage something i would like to know if its best just to tow it behind in a trailer.
thanks

Message: I carry a blaster in the bed of my truck all the time but that only weighs half as much. I would suggest if your going to be carrying it around a lot to buy a helper spring or some air shocks something of that nature to add a little capacity to your truck

Message: I carry a Big Bear in the back of my Quad Cab, you should be okay with a Club Cab.
I once carried a buddy's Sportsman in the back of a Ranger short box. Crushed the wheel wells a bit but suspension held up.
