ANyone know where to get a replacement battery (other than dealership) for 2001 with H.D. Service group?
The battery is a 27-60-A, 150 min reserve, 750CCA, and the dimensions of the case are:
12"Lx6-1/2"Wx8"H (about 9" at the post tops).
The closest I can find is an Everstart 27-6 deep-cycle marine battery with the extra posts that will not fit under the heat shield.

GO TO AUTOZONE GET THEIR BEST "GOLD" BATTERY THEY ARE MADE BY JOHNSON CONTROLS SAME CO. THAT MAKES DIE-HARD FOR SEARS

You don't need the exact physical size, but you do need the same post location, and same or better cold amps. I'm a big fan of Sears Diehard. Their warranty and replacement program is top-notch.
