This may sound stupid, but how do you get your rear seats out of the quad cab. I'm installing an amp in the back and i know the seats are hooked, but how do you go about getting them out. Thanks.

On the sides of the back seats at the back, there is a plastic cover. Remove one philips head screw and then underneath the plastic cover there will be a large torx bolt. I think it is a #45. There is also an exposed torx bolt between the seats on each seat. If you tilt the opposite seat your taking off a little, you will be able to get a ratchet with a torx bit in there to take it out. Once you take both of these torx bolts out you will be able to lift just the back part of the seat right off. That's it. Make sure when you put everything back on, thread the bolts back in by hand to get them started or you might strip the bolts.

Yep , no torx on mine either , just 4 bolts on each one. You do have to flip the seats up to see them though.

After placing a small bazooka in my O2 QC, I wasn't able to lift the seat up to get to the bottom back bolts after the install. So I took out the torx bolts that attach the seat back to the bottom. The same will happen if you place anything of any size behind the seat back. Like a huge amp.
