Message: i have 2 phoenix gold 10's and they hit hard AND clean! they're powered by a audiobahn 75x2 amp mounted under the drivers seat. it sound like a wimpy amp but it does hold up to it's name. i'm sure a larger amp would sound better, but remember to look for the quality of the amps put out, not just the shear numbers...

Message: I have had 2 AUDIOBAHN AWP310T, which are rated at 1000 watts rms each, installed in my 2000 dakota. They sound great in the MTX-Thunderform. The subs only require a 4.5" mouting depth so they fit perfect. There is a great balance between SQ and SPL. I only hear distortion when I am running them over 800 watts. Great subs in a great enclosure.
