Subject: KRC206 Camshafts IP: Logged
Message: I am wanting to replace the camshafts on my 4.7L. I am wondering if the KRC206 really do put out 18-22 ft/lbs and 12-14 more rear wheel peak horsepower over the HO with just basic bolt-on's. I was wondering whether anyone with KRC200/HO Cams that switched over to KRC206 cams got a boost like this.
I just do not want to spend an extra 300 on camshafts if its not going to give me a big boost can spend it elsewhere. Just looking for mid 14s.
Thanks,
Shaun

Message: I plan on switching my HO cams over the the KRC 206 cams, and I'm positive they will provide me with some good gains.

Message: Are there any dyno curves for these camshafts? What about for the HO camshafts alone? I saw a dyno curve from Canucker that had both the HO camshafts and intake but thats been it.
But definitely keep us posted on how the install goes and what you get in the way of gains because I will be installing cams in the very near future on my 4.7L....maybe you will be interested in selling the HO cams you take out?
