the speedo is working fine though. and when the parking brake is off the BRAKE light is slightly dimmed, but when the brake is on the light is fully lit.

asked for advice from az, advance, and napa nobody knew what it was. tried everything from testing the speed sensor, brake sensor, changing abs fuses under the hood, etc. right before i took it to a automotive electric shop to have diagnostics run on it i started changing fuses in the cab. the first one i came too, a 30 amp on the lower right corner made my brake lights come on, and the abs and parking light brake go off. damn funny how something so aggravating can be so simple to fix.

check the wire on the rear housing where it plugs in.then take the neg battery wire off for ten seconds and put back on. this will clear brake computer.

if the light comes back on have it decoded this will tell you where the problem is.
