 Subject: My truck will spend the day at the shop

I've been running my @ss off back and forth to the dealer just to get a part that has been special made. It’s a vacume hose thats fits in the powersteering unit. Its a pain to install so just decided to let them do it sence that got a left that can raise it up a good 8ft.
Well turns out its was the wrong part. The hose that got was for a 2wd, and I kneeded one for a 4wd (what could be the deffernce?).
So, it’s going to spend the entire day at the shop and now they got to reorder the right part from Detriot. But they did get me a ride while its being worked on untill tommorro. They thought they had another truck in the back for me (Ram 1500 with the Hemi) but as has it just turned out)just my luck) It was just sold yesterday! So, I said what else do you have? And they replyied (just while I was hopeing for a Big Horn 1500) "we got this Neon ES" F-CK!!
So, now I LUG around in a little Neon (Hey! at least I'm getting 30 to the gal.) and just hope I can get my truck will be ready for tommorro.
P.S
Yes, I did ask for a SRT-4 scence I'm an anti 4 banger. But none was on the lot.

If any-one would like too know. I finaly got it out today. I was getting sick of haveing to pull myself out of that little motor bugy. Also, the tranny shifted abruptly for a car with over 5,000 miles on the meter.
Is this normal for Neons? Well, I'm gladd I've got my old companion back.

STS,
the differences between the 2WD and 4WD is that the 2WD has rack and pinion steering and the 4WD doesnt. It still uses links and steering arms. I think the new (like 2002 and up) 4WD's use pinion now... but not sure.

hope things work out for ya STS. Where are you in Canada? Do you know of a good dealership?
Some time soon those little boys will start to find hair in strange places and notice girls(or boys judging by the predominantly gay oriented posts they write), maybe then they will get tired of the whole name thing.

I can tell by looking at other post from O.J and LQ. That there the most gayiest people on the board. Also, the least smartest of the bunch. Yeah, we all know you guy's have to type it on Word Perfect then past it here.

About rack and pinion 4x4's
It's only used on Ram 1/2 tons for now. The 04 Durango and the Dakota will soon have it on the next Generation models.
