Message: I helped a friend do his. All we did when we got the arm out was to beat them out with a hammer and chisel. When we put the new ones in we tightened the end bolts while beating the control arm and they finally seated. Not as bad as it sounds. Try to mark where the bar is we were close enough that when he went and had the alignment checked it was fine. we also cut the plastic in the wheel wail so that the exhaust does not get them as hot. Only had to do it on the passenger side.

Message: We took the whole control arm out the only way. Just back the nut on the ball joint to level with stud and give it a few good wacks with a hammer.
