 Subject: noise when window rolls down

2001 dakota, when I roll my drivers side window down it makes a noise and seems like it shutters on the way down mostly when it's about 3/4's of the way down, anyone else notice this or know what I should be looking for as a fix? thanks

Mine did the same thing right off the lot. Dealership said it was supposed to do that. "No abnormal noises found", says the service manager with a smirk as she listened to the screeching and shuddering right in front of me. I took the door panel off and found that there was a seal about an inch below the top seal ... simply rubbed all the debris (dust, lint, etc) off that seal and it was all better. Hope this helps.
