Subject: just installed moog ball joints, help? IP: Logged
Message: The install went smooth, but the bolts on the top of the ball joint were smaller than the holes, I tightened them to spec and will get it aligned tommorow. Is this OK??? Anyone else done this on a 4x4.?

Message: You need to drill out the holes on the MOOG's to 3/8" and use 3/8 grade 8 bolts locking washers and locking nut. what you got with the MOOG's are 5/16 and the ground out rivet holes are 3/8

Message: Thanks, put in 3/8ths this morning, torqued them to 25 ft lbs and it all looks good, getting alligned today...I think the holes were still slightly bigger than 3/8th.
