Message: Available at some auto parts stores. You might be able to grab it better to move it if you take the TB off.

Message: OK... i cleaned the TB and since I had the thing half apart...... cleaned the K&N filter and changed the plugs (about a year old or so) Disconnected the battery and let everything settle down - including my nerves!
Truck seems to be running fine!
Will know more later this weekend when I load up the heavy dirt bike and hook up the Coleman pop up camper!
Also... I had a 5 foot piece of 2inch angle iron welded onto the bed when it meets the cab in order to strengthen it (bent due to motorbike front tire!) Strong as anything, ven though it was a little painful to see the guy take a grinder to the truck and to see the paint burning when he was welding! Looks great and solid! We will see how it holds up when I load up the bike this weekend! Getting it Line-x'd next week.
Thanks everyone for suggestions on the rough idle!
Julian

Message: Yeah, that sections a little weak, isn't it. Mine bent from snow in the bed slamming forward when I was plowing, just bent it back into shape with my hands. Glad to hear you made some progress.

Message: OK. It's fixed. Was at the dealer six times over the past year!!!! They cleaned the TB, IAT, et cetera. Nothing. Tried a new battery on a suggestion from a couple mechanics. Nothing. Changed plugs. Nothing. Finally, I took Kowalski's advice and adjusted the based idle set screw on the throttle body. Turned the screw a half turn. Did nothing for the idle while in park. Took the truck for a drive. No more 400 rpm rough idle while stopped after hiway driving. Idles at a beautifully smooth 600 rpms all the time now. Now, why exactly didn't the dealer do this? I'm beside myself. Oh well .. at least it's fixed. I just can't believe the dealer never thought to just adjust the idle the old fashioned way. AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!
