Does anyone know if the Dodge Viper Emblems work for the Dakotas? If so, what year emblem.Do they come in Different colors? Does the 2003 Viper Emblems work?

Why would anyone want to put a Viper emblem on a Dakota? That'd be like putting Corvette emblems on an Xtreme....Supra emblems on a Taco....Gt40 emblems on a Lightning or Ranger. Don't stoop to "ricer" levels.

The '02 and older viper emblems work for the newer dakotas (gen3). The emblem is only a tad bit smaller than the ram head emblem, but it's no big deal if you center it. There is a sight concavity to the viper emblem, so the middle section won't touch metal with the dakota hood. You can use a small amount of silicone to fill the small gap incase you are worried about the emblem coming off at higher speeds.
Yes, the Viper emblems come in every color the Viper is made.
The new '03 Viper emblem is a question that I can't answer. I haven't seen the new emblem up close and personal so until then I can't say if it will fit or not. The new Viper emblem is sooooooo sweet!!

Oh, you can purchase the '02 and older emblems from ebay for a few bucks. There is also a slight color difference between the R/T 10 emblem and the ARC emblem (this emblem has the appearance of snake skin).

I think the 03' emblem is slightly wide for the gap in the dakota hood, all the others work well I'm told.
