Message: Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but is it possible to replace a 4 cylinder engine with a 6 or even 8 cylinder...w/out having to replace anything else? Or is there alot more involved?
Message: A whole lot more, computer, fuel system as different engines use different fuel pressure, transmission for a 4 won't stand up to the torque of a 6 let alone a 8, engine mounts will be different. oh yeah the springs will have to be changed as well cuzz a heavier engine will need heavier springs to support it. a larger radiator,radiator cowling, throttle cable,and maybne more that I missed
