Subject: Wrangler AT/D tires IP: Logged
Message: Wondering if anyone has tried out the Sam's Club exclusive Goodyear Wrangler AT/D's on their Dakota? 31x10.5x15. Thinking about upgrading my 235/75/15s with a set. Its a toss up between the BFG AT KO's and the AT/Ds. What do you guys think ?

Message: Just had a set put on my 93 Chevy pickup. Seem to run quiet and are a little softer ride compared to the 235's I had on there

Message: I just put a set of Sam's 30x9.5 AT/D's on an '96 F150, replacing a set of P235 extra load AT/D's that had 67,000 miles on them. :-)
The 30x9.5's are a *lot* stiffer than the P235 extra loads, and they seem to be a bit noisier for some reason. The 30x9.5's are a "C" load rating, whereas the P235's were only an "extra load" rated passenger designation.
I can't complain a bit about the 67,000 miles that I got out of the last set of AT/D's. I only rotated them every 10-12,000 miles. They were right down to the wear bars, and I needed to replace them before we got our first snow... otherwise, I'd be sliding all over the place.
Also look at the Goodyear Tracker tire that Wal-Mart is selling for $75 each right now.
