Subject: Replacing Front Discs IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2001 4.7L, AWD CC. What is involved in replacing the rotors? I have never done a 4X4 with one peice disc/hub before. How is the rotor connected to the axle? Is it easy? I am a very good mechanic, just thought I'd ask if there is any tricks, etc. Don't have a manual on the truck and Chiltons/Hayes doesn't either.

Message: Take the tire off, remove the caliper and the rotor will come right off. The caliper and wheel is what holds it on. Very easy

Message: Ahhh, nobody helped you out so you end your post with a dig.
Maybe if you got off your azz and looked at the truck or if you must remain seated, did a search, you would have found your answer.
Sometimes answering the same question over and over gets a bit boring.
