I have a 2001 4.7L, AWD CC. What is involved in replacing the rotors? I have never done a 4X4 with one peice disc/hub before. How is the rotor connected to the axle? Is it easy? I am a very good mechanic, just thought I'd ask if there is any tricks, etc. Don't have a manual on the truck and Chiltons/Hayes doesn't either.

Do the 4X4 rotors come off just like the 2X4 rotors?

Take the tire off, remove the caliper and the rotor will come right off. The caliper and wheel is what holds it on. Very easy

Ahhh, nobody helped you out so you end your post with a dig.

Maybe if you got off your azz and looked at the truck or if you must remain seated, did a search, you would have found your answer.

Sometimes answering the same question over and over gets a bit boring.
