Message: I have a 98 dakota 4X4 with a 3.9 and when you have it in 4wheel drive and the vehicle is in reverse the truck has no power. I couldn't get the truck to even climp a curb. Anyone have any suggestions.

Message: I'm assuming you have power other times. That shoots the fuel pump theory...It solved my problem. A mere $256 bill....fuel pump is in the tank.

Message: It's not the tranny slipping is it? There really isn't a way that the motor could have ample power going forward and not in reverse. Seems almost like a tranny problem or some sort of drivetrain problem after the motor. Just my opinion.

Message: I don't believe anything is slipping it almost acts like it is rev limited.
