I went and looked at the new Fords and I have to say, I was impressed. Head and shoulders above the new Rams.

STS, I'm looking at the FX4. I like that one because it has the skid plates and stiffer suspension. Plus, if I want the shifter to come out of the center console, its either that or the Lariat. I really don't like the wood dash of the Lariat. I drove one today and I liked it. They've really outdone themselves with the interior of this truck. My problem is, I like the Dakota idea, small truck with a v-8 and a manual tranny, but big enough for my family. I just don't want to have worry about major repairs at 50k-60k miles.

All you people brag all about the new Nissan & Toyota. But there still not full size 4 door trucks. Chevy,Ford & Dodge are the only ones that make a true full size 4 door truck. And on top of that the Nissan & Toyota are only 1/2 ton trucks. So what is so great about the Nissan or Toyota? And also our economy is messed up enought without buyine more Japanese made vechiles. If your a true American then buy American!! Enought said.

Look, first of all if Americans didn't make crap then there would be no japs. I can tell you for a fact that my jap car is one year older than my dodge, and it has never spent one second in the shop.

P.S: those companies that you supposedly want to support don't support America, they move their factories to Asia and Mexico. You should go to Flint, and check out American pride at its best.

Have you ever looked to see where the parts on your dodge are made.

I just purchased a 2004 Ford F-150 SuperCrew Lariat 4x4. I LOVE it!! I didn't like the styling of the old 150's but I really like the new design. I lucked out and sold my Dakota to a kid down the street, who is gonna lower it and make it look stupid. But he paid cash :-)

Yeah, the new F150 does look sweet. I test drove a Ram 1500 Hemi. Ridiculously expensive for what you get. The Ford is way better value. I'm not even sure I like the look of the Rams anymore. One thing's for sure, I hate the 3.9 in my Dakota so it has to go.

And quite frankly, I couldn't give a rats a$$ where my vehicles are built. Here or overseas make not one tiny bit of difference. My cash goes to the first company who gives me what I want for what I am willing to pay.
