Message: Some of the Dodge cheer leaders on this board make me laugh. They all seem to have trucks with a million miles on them that have never had a part replaced. Damn, that's like winning a lottery with Dodge.
My 97 4x4 Dakota needed lower ball joints at 3,200 miles, the tranny blew at 56,000 miles. Dodge paid for both.
My 01 needed upper ball joints at 36,000 miles, a new rack right after and new sway bar bushings. Warranty came through again. The rotors were warped at 42,000 miles and I had to cover that cost. Actually, I did it myself and it,s been fine for 6 monts now.
My point is, though no car or truck is ever perfect, some are more so than others. I love my Dodges and at my age see little point in changing brands. I have taken a Tundra for a test drive and while it's nice, it's just not my style.
I'll give a nod to the Japs for the quality of their products. They've really taught us a thing or two over the last 25 years about growing quality through continuous improvement. It's too bad that Dodge didn't even really try to improve the Dakota between my 97 and my 01. They changed the only thing that didn't need changing, the dash and left the bad mechanical defects and even added a few!
That takes a certain amount of skill. Bottom line, lets all be realistic and honest about our trucks. They're not perfect, they may not be as good as some others out there as far as NVH, initial build quality, resale value, etc are concerned but there's a reason why we bought them.

He doesn't seem to have a problem with shipping his cash off to der vaderlad so the only reason I can see him not liking Jap trucks is because his alcoholic uncle daddy taught him to hate Asians.
What a turd.

I could just see a dealer letting a trailer park dwelling jizz wad like you test drive a $250,000.00 car.
Really, if you're going to bullshlt at least make it semi believable.

The only luxury car I can think of is a Buick. I just suck and I need a better paying job instead of being the fries manager at Wendys.

Hocking yourself on Hollywood Blvd. to some rich freak driving a Bentley DOES NOT constitute a test drive, unless YOU got to drive, IMO.
PS> I hid the knife in the Bentley, not the Bronco. DUH!
