does anyone know what is taking Dodge so long to redesign the Dakota? Frankly I think it's taking a ridiculous amount of time for one of Dodge's staple products

Yeah the redesign is coming in 2005...according to MotorTrend, supposed to resemble the new Durango and have the 4.7 and 5.7 engines available.

I can wait. its to bad GM didn't add a V8 for there Midsize trucks. The Colorodo look perty darn good. But, just watch Motor Trend not comment on that but won't hasitate to bash a 4.7L powerd RAm!

The Colorado is not a midsize, that's only a marketing ploy. Compare the dimensions to the S10 - nearly identical, except even smaller in a couple of measurements.
