Subject: Anyone got Stillen 14 inch Rotor Kit? IP: Logged
Message:
Has anyone done the any of the Big Brake Upgrade kits (14 inch Rotors) for our Front ends? Stillen has one but it's like 3k. I'm just curious if a kit like that would help any for normal city driving or would it be a waist of money.
just curious..because my brakes suck and I spent like $1900 bucks in June getting a new master cyclinder, power booster, new hoses, calipers, drums, pads.. etc and after 4100 miles my front rotors are warped again.
eerrrrrrrrrrrrr !!!!

Message: if you want some good rotors go with a set of powerslot rotors...and for firmness in the peddle use braided stainless lines instead of the rubber ones...

Message: CJ has a good idea....but the from the post I have read there are better rotors than the powerslots for same or less money. Do some research on the powerslots before buying.
Group buy forum has some great post about personal opinions of these rotors.
As for the braided steel lines, they are better for sure, no argument there...But not Dot approved.
I would not recomend going that route unless it was an offroad only machine.
Do some reasearch and I think you will find alot of helpful information.
