I'm thinking of going to Amsoil synthetic fluid but not sure if its worth the hassle or not. If someone who is more educated in this subject could shed some light I'd appreciate it.

I have Red Line synthetic ATF in my truck and it's fine - no problems, no noticeable difference, either.
If you do change to syn, have it done professionally ($$$) so the torque converter is pumped out properly.

No Daddy-D,

I usually hang out on the sidelines for a while, let a few people post, and then I can answer many questions at once. I hear great things about Redline ATF - If you are happy with it ... stick with it. Amsoil Universal ATF is an excellent product also ... and both are better than Mobil1.

hard to explain..It is getting better..i also had a cooler installed last week..looks like it only took maybe 3 qts.to top of after the kid cut the lines and let them dangle thus dripping more..
Just wish..I could work in my drive way..But i live in a deed restricted community..no working on cars/trucks..
I'd be saving a sh*t load of money..And I can do All the work..being a former ASE mechanic..
