Message: 95 dakota 3.9 111,000 miles takes a lot of cranking before it will start. Once started runs ok? Just replaced plugs, cap and rotor.

Message: Try some Lucas Oil additive for your gas. It may be that your fuel system needs cleaning. If that year model has fuel filter replace that and air filter as well. I'm not familiar with 95 model but if it has carb or TB clean those. The best way is to remove them from the intake manifold before cleaning and use a good carb cleaning fluid. Be sure to use new gasket when replacing on engine. If you didn't replace plug wires it would be a good idea to do this as well. Also at that mileage you might have the timing checked. If it is a little out of time this will make it hard to start.
