This morning, I found that my gauge cluster lights and SOME of the radio button lights weren't working. When I got to work, I realized that neither were my running lights.

I replaced the blown fuse, turned on the headlight switch and instantly blew the fuse again.

The brake lights, headlights, turn signals and radio are all working, but not the front or rear running lights, gauge cluster lights, or the lighted buttons on the radio.

Any ideas? The only thing I know about electrical problems is that electricians are way too expensive and not an option yet.

ALL help will be appreciated!

is your hi-beam indicator on constantly, even when the truck is off?

it may be your running light module, drivers side inner fender at least that is where it is on a 97.

The circuit is relatively simple but it is going to require someone that understands how to use a meter to troubleshoot as well as getting into a couple of connectors to isolate the problem down to a particular circuit. I can send the diagrams on request. But it's going to take some troubleshooting. Are you ready?
