Message: Is there a quick way to ID our transmissions? Do the pans have a different shape?
I always thought that the 518 was used behind the V8s and the 500 behind the V6. Yet lately I have read a few articles where people were claiming that the 500 was behind their 8.
I now wonder which transmission I have.
