Yet again I found out another major problem with my truck. This time I need a whole new rearend. I would like to get a Dana rearend w lim. slip, but I am pressed for money. I guess I might have to get one at a junk yard.
I have an '87 4x4 3.9L V6 Dakota running with 31x10.50's. What gear ratio is the best for all-around, turning these tires and towing. I'm not so much for speed, (although it helps) but am wondering what I need to get.

Also, what are the gears from the factory If anyone knows.

Please,any and all help is greatly aprecciated!!!!
