Subject: need to replace upper control arm bushin IP: Logged
Message: Hi I need new upper control arm bushings for my 93 Dakota. I was looking at AutoZone and seen they had a set of ENERGY-SUSPENSION RED 5.3115RX for $52.99. Would I be wise to replace all of the bushings? I was told they are better. They also had PERFECT_CIRCLE UPPER FB372 $4.99.

Message: I changed all the bushings on my front end about a month ago -upper & lower control arms, tie rods, and new shocks while I was at it. The truck rides better than new. Stiffer, more responsive. Definitely worth it. If you are doing it yourself, I hope you have a good torch to burn the bushings out, its hardly worth the time if don't. Good luck.
