Message: I'll start at the beginning so there is no confusion. I have a 1996 2.5L dakota. In the morning, I drove it in to town (10 mile highway drive) and drove it back in the afternoon. After it had been sitting for about 4 hours I went to start it. It cranked, but there was nothing. I checked for spark and fuel, and there were NIETHER. I checked the fuses and relays, and they were all good and getting power. I also checked that "famous" problem with the splice in the harness under the PDB, and Dodge must have fixed that problem that year because the splice was golden. The only thing that I have tried so far was to put a new pick up plate in it as a result of some advice from friend, which didn't help in the least.
So before I put a whole lot of money into it, and/or, heaven forbid take it to the dealer, I would like to know if anybody has any advice or experience to share with me on this matter.
