 Subject: Warrenty Question

I just called the dealer to take my truck in for some work. I wasn't sure if the warranty was up or not, when I bought it I thought they said till November. So, I gave the service guy the last 9 digits of my VIN. It came up expired as of August. Now, when I had my first dakota, I recieved a letter in the mail stating that the warranty was about to run out and information to extend it. Did anyone here recieve a letter before their warranty expired? This really sucks because I think the ball joints are shot and wheel bearings are getting bad. Also the damn paint on the front bumper if peeling and rusting.
