Message: just get a shifter that works for older torqueflite trannies... I have a megashifter in mine and it works fine... just be sure when you run the cable you don't lay it on the exhaust or hear the headers, it will melt and lock up. Other than that it's a simple bolt on.. to remove the column shifter I just took the plastic cover off the steering column, removed the pivot pin for the shifter and that's about it... I have a handle with the button for the OD on/off. it's fun for sure.

Message: Do you have any pictues of your shifter?
Also did you remove the column shifter? Other trucks I saw said there is a kit which is basically a piece to insert after you remove the column shifter. The shifter you recomend is the one i was going to buy. It was like 140$ and it was for c-4 & c-5 ford, th350 & th400 chevy, and mopar torqeflite transmissions. Please email me at csingra@luc.edu if you have any info to share. I would like to do this and have the ability to do so, but i want it done right the first time. Thanks
