Subject: rear 2" drop IP: Logged
Message: i have a 97 5.2 reg cab i want to drop the rear down two inches to level the truck i am going to use 2" blocks and wont to know what this will do to my truck?
any advise would help

if you mean harm it naw it won't harm it, over 3" is when you usually have a problem with breaking them

Message: Just from my experience...I tried 2" drop rear hangers, and ended up with driveline shake from the rear pinion angle increase. I put the stock hangers back on, then installed 2" drop blocks with the pinion angle correction slant on top of the blocks. 30,000 miles later: still sweet. AIM (Chassis Tech) blocks. '01 4.7 5-spd. 3:92 RC
