99 318 with roughly 30,000 miles on it. great condition. was gonna swap it with my v-6 but tuning problems became aparent before i even started. garage kept on a stand. prefer to keep it a local sale (i live in MD) or at least with in a few states so that shipping will not be an issue. be great for a rebuild or a swap. make me an offer

I am in calif. but i might have done sssome major damage to my 318....i have a 1999 dakota with 5.2 V-8 318.....Been having trouble with it ever since i lost the bypass hose and had shop repair ir. which they changed out the thermostat too. stat flannge has leaked twice at gasket. I have changed both times. Thought it was the problem innitially but my whole coolant system has acted up intermittantly. Changed rad. cap,stat (195f)twice. Radiator now cooler with new cap, flange not leaking yet and temp gauge never above half way. BUT TOP RAD HOSE HOT-HOT AND I DONT THINNK THE RADIATOR IS CIRCULATING. I am afriad to use any of the dash board functions for a/c or heater due to effects on engine when on.
Oh thats right the a/c has 2 rigid lines on top of compressor leading to front "radiator" (lets call them "radiators" cause i dont know what the a/c one is called)that get extremly hot. ANd lastly, i think i found oil in my radiator when i put finger in radiator i removed cream colored substance but only one time did i see it. It is not there any longer, but like i said not sure if it is circulating ..drain cock wont drain after i open drain cock's vallve on bottoom right of radiator. Bottoome right if u are looking at front of truck looking at front windshield. Sorry i wrote so much but i recently have recovered from a near fatel car accdent which i was ejected otherwise i could have possibly moonitoored it and fixed it sooner......accident messed me up..thannks

forgot to add, i might be interested in the engine but wont know until i take it to shop i guess..is there a possiblity you could email me with a close price for it....i am not in position to start bargaining.....i have no idea what it is worth.....thannnks

sorry man i sold it to a local guy. he works at a body shop and i need stuff painted...... so hes gonna hook me up with that and some cash and there you have it. so sorry man but its sold.
