Message: I saw the Quick D site. The prices are very reasonable, but is the intake a cold air intake? I like the prices.........

Yes, the K&N uses a 4" tube with an integrated (and redesigned) air hat...along with a heat shield at the actual air filter.
BTW: The Mopar kit is built by K&N. Mopar just slaps their sticker on the intake tube and charges $30-$50 more for a standard "K&N Gen-II"" system.
