Subject: New chapter to the water leak issue

I have an '03 RC and to date I haven't experienced any lakes underneath my passenger side dash as other seem to. I keep checking with my fingers crossed every month or so but nothing yet. What I have found is after I wash the thing I have a tablespoon or so of water on the passenger side floor mat, which luckily is rubber. I took out the hose and proceeded to flood the windshield, cowl and wheel wells. What I found is the water will eventually find it's way down the HVAC air intake, through the blower fan then drain out of the A/C drain hose... Not a big deal, however if the system is flooded (so to speak) then the water will drip from around the blower/fan onto the floor. The fan is only held in place by three screws easily accessable from the passenger side under the dash. Luckily, there is a beautiful little groove this blower fits in, perfect for some RTV silicone. Works like a charm, now there's no way i can get water to drip through. Take a look, it's a 10 minute job.
