Subject: How do I take off the emblems? IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2000 dakota r/t and i want to take of the emblems all the way around the truck. Whats the best way to do this?

Message: with the stickers you can just slowly pull em off, and the engine badges on the fenders but....behind the badges on the fender are two small holes. the badge has two pieces of plastic that stick through the holes. just pull em off real slow and you shouldnt have a problem.

Message: I used a heat gun to soften the stickers and 3M adhesive remover for the residue. On 98 and 99 they had the posts on the back of the engine badges I don't believe the 2000 had the posts. Use fishing line on the engine badges and then remove the what adhesive is left. Make sure you wax the areas were you used the adhesive remover.
