 Subject: Vent Shades & Mud flaps

I am thinking about adding vent shades to my 2003 quad cab but I was wondering do vent shades (not speaking of a brand here but the shades in general, probably in channel):
1 - Cause more wind noise?
2 - Reduce wind noise?
3 - Or cause no change in wind noise?
4 - Which is best, I have heard Weathertech.
Also, I have the factory fender flares on my Dak, do you recommend mud flaps? How do they look on a Dak?

I have Ventvisors by AutoVentshade. Taped on kind. Snap in window ventvisors always fall out after a year or so. I have mine painted to match my truck. No noise, perfect wind deflection. A must have for smokers, or people that like to drive with their window cracked to hear traffic and sirens.

I have installed vent shades,stick on type,on my Dak and noticed an increase in wind noise immediately. They are good for when you need to open the window slightly when it is raining and it is nice to be able to crack open the windows in a parking lot and not be able to tell they are opened to help with the cooling. I have the ones that hang just above the window.

I have weather tech vent guards and they go in the channel and match the color of the side windows but are alittle more money but worth the price and are tested in germany on the autoban to like 160 M.P.H. but thats just my opt.

I have the official Dodge mud flaps with the rams head and i think they look great ! No mud or rocks hit the body . I also have the factory fender flairs .

I have the factory rams head mud flaps. They do the job, but I've had mine for 2 years and the rams heads are almost all worn off. I'd recommend mudflaps, but get cheaper aftermarket ones, IMO.
