The speedo will be different - Kilometers instead of miles. Also, we have a daytime running light module so that the running lights are on when the truck is started.

We have the daytime running lights up here to. The emissions crap may be slightly different not sure though. But I have noticed that they are cheaper for you to buy here I bought my 03 R/T in January and paid a hair over 30,000 CDN loaded and undercoated and the dealer made the first 2 months payments.I am sure converted to US $$ that would be around 20 Grand taxes and everything.

It might be illegal to bring one over from Canada into the US. The different regulations between the US and Canada may make the Canadian Dakota "not road worthy." Note that I put that last statement in quotes as I'm sure the Canadian Dakota is just as safe (well, it does have those km's on the speedo, don't know about them...). It just may not have some of the "stupid" DOT items on it. So you should just check around to make sure it's okay. You'd hate to spend $$$$ (Canadian) and then have it stopped at the border.

money exchange is 1.60 so 30 grand would be 19,000 but you will have to pay taxes and plates where you live. Check into Dave Smith motors in Kellog Idaho I got 2002 quad 4x4 2 years ago for 21,000 when everyone else was 26,000 and up.
