Ok,
This is NOT a hoax. I have gotten several e-mails from people here at dodgedakotas.com that have viruses. You guys should make sure you have anti-virus software, and make SURE it is up to date. I get 100-200 e-mails a day which our system (at work) picks up on and most of the e-mails have Sobig.F in them.
Just thought I would give you guys a heads up....I remember reading J&J's virus post, which yes that stuff was a hoax ( we get calls like that at work a lot ) but this is not.

Hey brainiac.
I get that many emails a day as well that have the virus. Just because the email says it was sent by someone doesn't mean it was. I don't have the virus or virus' in my computer and I get replys all the time. I figure someone elses computer that got the virus hijacked my email address off their address book.

The SoBig Virus takes addresses from address books of infected computers and uses them to send E-Mails around trying to infect others. I get back several e-mails returned that I never sent because they are said to contain virus but I don't have it in computer and never have. Just delete them. This virus is suppose to expire on Sept. 10th. If you are unsure about it go to symantecs web site and get program to fix it.

Rob1 , thanks for saying it better. Did not know about the sept 10th cut off date; maybe it is supposed to keep us distracted until sept 11 part 2? (eyes shift back and forth). Electric chair for bozos that start these things IMO. Lots O' lost revenues.

Wow a cut off date eh...thats kinda dumb.
Anyways.....I meant to put in off-topic....sorry.
And yea, i know how viruses work...i remove them all the time. Not from my machine, but people at work (student, staff, faculty, etc).
