Just wondering how a 3.9 with a few mods like intake and exhaust and maybe a TB would match up against a stock 4.7 with all other things being equal...Im sure some of you guys have tested this out at meets..

Well, I put a Flowmaster, Autolite Plugs, Borg Warner Brass Cap & Rotor and Synthetic Motor Oil and well..... It sound like an outboard motor. I'm putting the air intake on soon I hope that make it better but I really didn't notice much difference. But then again, I'm still breaking it in, I guess I wont.

Thinks I should have had a V-8

Check out the chat room , when you have a chance.

Oh....and I think that a "worked" 3.9 has much more than exhaust & intake system.
