Message: I can't believe this. I've owned my '00 4.7 truck for 2 1/2 years and this past weekend I notice on each side of my steering wheel just behind the cruise control switches some toggle looking switches. I thought they may also have something to do with the cruise but they don't. I'm puzzled

Message: That's the manual seat ejection switch, don't press those!! You have the James Bond edition Dakota.
:)
Those are the radio controls for your volume and tuning/track selection. I'll bet $1.00 if you have your stock radio, you have the cd/casette version.
:)
Enjoy--

Message: I ordered those wnen I had my QC built!
You don't use them? They are so nice!
Volume, CD/RADIO, CD track advance, etc., all at your finger tips, never have to reach over.
You didn't know you had them? Was this truck new?
Anyway, glad that you found them, once you get used to them, you'll rarely reach over anymore.
