Subject: bad day at the dunes IP: Logged
Message: Man have I had a bad day at the dunes. Last night while we were camping the wife was turning the truck around and ran into a sand bank. Not really hard at all. Didn't think anything about it. This morning I was showing a buddy the dakota and realized the front bump was about an inch or so higher on one side then the other. Apparently due to the running into the bank. Then today we were going out into the sand to unload the quad. All of a sudden the quad bouces into the air and come through the rear window. Denting the heck out of the cab and bed......And all of this and we have only had the truck a week! Oh well guess all those years of INS. Premiums will be paying off.

I normally do as well. But the loading/staging area was packed and we had already untied it. Thought we'd just go out and unload it....Oh well $hit happens. At least I'll get a rear slider out of it! And seeings how the bed will be completely off sounds like a good time to add a body lift, torrision bar crank and 33's huh? Gears will come in oct.

i'll agree with you on that one my dakota is a 2001 cc 4.7 2x4 and so far i wrecked it in an ice storm and about 6 months after that i ran it into the back of a civic in the rain(no ticket)they blamed it on the rain i guess because i hydroplaned and hit then(6000 dollars)and a couple months ago i was talking to my cousin in a texaco parking lot and this guy back up and swung the front of his ram around to quick and hit my bedside with his brushguard, and about 3 weeks ago this woman merged right over in front of my poor dakota and did 4000 to the front right side, she couldnt drive hers because she had no passenger side back tire...my dakota knocked it right off and it rolled down the road...to bad for her but she should have drove better, but i guess i do get a different grille, hood and bumper cover...ohh and i cant forget the clear headlights too, when some bad things happen i guess if done right alot of good things will come out of the deal...like you gettin the slider and body lift and stuff.ohh yea...before my last wreck...and i am still drivin my dakota to work now, about 3 of 4 months ago my dakota was keyed all over by some biatch,i had to pay 500 even though it wasnt my falt but i guess i did get a 1600 paint job for only 500 and they did take all the dents and scratches out along with that new paint.

Message: the reason insurance premiums are high is not because of someone making a claim. Its from people suing the hell out of em from personal injury claims. Dont blame him, blame the damn attorneys you see on TV.
In Texas, we have chased of a couple of insurance companies because we have the highest rates. Right now they are in a process to regulate the damn insurance companies. I believe its called proposition 12 and will limit the amount that a insurance company has to pay off.
