 Subject: RAM or DAK?

This is a Dak website however I want a nice roomy truck with room for 4 adults and well I believe I could get a 99 RAM QC 1500 for cheaper then I could get a 00 DAK QC. Well I want to know your opinions on why you love the Dak and how most don't seem to consider the Ram's.

i can only speek for myself but i got a dak because i wanted a truck, but i dont haul much so i didnt need a fullsize. i also think the dakota's look better than anyother truck, including the ram. the tech at the dealer told me that the dakota's are made better than the ram's.
if you want to fit 4 adults in a truck, the QC has more room than an club cab ram so it would be more comfortible for everyone.
if you want a ram waite untill the 02's go on sale. they have 4 real doors (like the QC daks) and mabe a higher resale value because of the new style. you can also get 20" rims from the factory hope this helps

Man do i have some insight for you. Ive owned 2 Ram's 1500 LB 4x4 and a 2500 Quad Cab LB 4x4 Diesel. My wife would not drive either one of them ( which could be good)because they were too big. 1 The Ram can't come close to the ride the DAK has, 2 the ram is hard as hell to get into tight parking aka the mall, 3 it has a higher crash rating than the ram ( hope you never test it) 4 most parts are cheaper, 5 your neighbors wont ask you to take em to lowes to get big sheets of plywood, 6 the 4.7 hauls real booty. Now when you look down the road at resale a 2k Dak quad Cab will easily out sell the 2K Ram. I found the Dak overall just makes a better fit the the large Ram.Hope that helps

My brother has two Cummins 2500 4WD Rams...a RC long bed as his work truck and the QC short bed he gave to his wife to drive 1 mile to her job. She was afraid of it at first, but after knocking a few things over with it (fences, mailboxes, old people, etc), she really likes it! Plus their little kids fit fine in back. It just annoys the hell out of the neighbors when they start them up in the morning...between my brother, his wife, and my dad (a 2500 CC 4WD Diesel, lives across the street from my brother), it sounds like a truck stop in that part of the block.

Just sold the wife's 97 Ram CC.. It was a gas hog!!! 5.9l auto. Had the auto rebuilt at 62k, ac at 48, 56k and 64k The ride sucked (needed new shocks at 82k =] ) I will NEVER have a fullsize again! You can get everything you need in a Dak.. 4 doors, v8, 4x4 etc... why get a fullsize?
Also, it was hard as hell to manuver around here in the city. The Stang gets around so much better, as does my Dak
