Subject: Lift or stiff??
IP: Logged

Message:
This may sound like a stupid question but if i put a 3" lift on my dakota is it going to stiffin up the ride quality? The truck rides real good but i'd like to gain a few inches in height but not if it means taking away the smoothness of the ride. Also how hard is it to install one of these lifts? Do i have to change the shocks? Thanks in advance..

if you go with the 3" body lift yoiur ride would stay the same. and yes yoiu would need new shocks with a suspenion lift but not body

Thanks chris. Is there much of a difference between a body lift and a suspension lift? It seems to me that a body lift would be easier to install.

body lift will keep you out of the creek but not give you any additional clearance.

well a body lift is ust that it lifts the body of the truck and leaves everything else stock height
