would an after market torque converter or a shift kit correct it? I specifically ordered a 5.9, 4x4, automatic (46RE) QC, with 3.92 rear Dakota so it would torque up the 20 miles of rolling hills I drive to work everyday here in PA, without a bunch of down shifts. It works beautifully 99% of the time, however, once in a while it will vibrate badly for like five to ten seconds while torqueing up one of these hills. The service manager says his RT does the same thing and that it is indeed the torque converter as I suggested to him. He said to "push" thru it (down shift) since I could be harming OD. Pushing thru it isn't what I payed $27,000 for! At the first tranny fluid drain (I only have 3,000 on the truck) should I consider some after market tranny parts? Except for this I love the truck! Thank you.
