I recently bought my 2000 4x4 QC 5.9 Dak, it has 39K miles. I have so far put in a K&N air filter and changed the oil over to Mobile one (sorry Mr. AmSoil no oil change joint around here carried your products..I was willing to try it). The truck is Super clean and seems to have been taken good care of. I was just wondering what other things I should do to the truck to make sure it stays running good. As I dont know the history of the first 39K on the truck I am wondering how much or what else I should do to maintain my investment without going overboard. Any and all opinions are welcome.
As a side note...so far I love this truck...went wheelin last weekend and had such a ball...

...meaning that when you apply the brakes the truck shakes...dodges are bad about doing this, but other than that my dakota has 95,*** miles of having no problems besides the lake under the left side floormat...gotta fix that when i have the chance.

Yea...the Brakes are Warped.....and getting worse...I'll check the the passenger side for wetness.
I was thinking more along lines of should I change the rear and/or Tranny fluids...Maintenance type stuff, what other things should I do at 39K or look out for to make sure this trucks lasts for me...
