Subject: Starter/ Fuseable links IP: Logged
Message: Does any one know where the fuseable links are in our Trucks? Specifically 2001 4.7's? Any help would be appreciated. The actual problem I'm having is i can't get the starter to turn. The positive is giving power (all the time, even when the key isn't to the start position) and the ground is good as well. Its not the starter BTW, bought a new one today and hooked it up...no go.

Message: I don't see any fusible links in the prints. A couple of fuses however, among several other of the usual components and associated wiring.
I can send the diagrams in .pdf so you can troubleshoot the system.

Message: Can you get diagrams to show up on TechConnect at home?
I get all the text, just no diagrams, schematics, etc. A little box with a X is all that comes up for pics.
Any suggestions?
