Picked up my 2002 dakota sport today..It was in at the dodge dealers to fix the water problem on the passenger floor...It does not leak anymore..I suggest if you have the same problem..wait for a sunny day.run the air..with the carpet lifted up and drive it into the dealers like I did last nite..Then they can see the water accumulate and puddle for themselves. Here is what the work order said....all under warranty of course
complaint: concern that moisture(haha..more like a small lake) on the passenger floor from the a/c

correction: raise on hoist and remove heat shield to check drain..drain ok..let run for 1 hour to check for leaks(man...do they know the price of gas?).....remove and replace carpet to dry out and water test seal..open seam at rear right cowl(where is that located?) to a pillar area and pull back a/c housing to repair seal at lower housing to firewall area..
Whatever the guys did..it worked..I am happy now..gonna go wash and wax my baby..She's been through an ordeal

Was the work done under original warranty, or under an extended warranty? I ask because I have an appointment on Wednesday for the 'swimming pool fix' (for my '01 w/75,000 miles) and want to be prepared.
