ok,
98 dak w.3.9l v6. ac starts out cold, then warms quickly. i tried recharging w/a 134a refill kit. hooked up to low pressure side, engine running, ac on high. no refrigerant left the can(yes the can was open, and the connections were on right :-) ) the compressor pulley wasn't turning, so we jumped the clutch shut off swithc. compressor started running, ran for a while, then shut off w/the jumper still on.
problem is still there.
what next? my fiancee is driving me crazy to fix it, and my ram is getting tired of her driving it!

Maybe now it has too much ref, and once it builds up pressure it's too hi, and the hi pressure switch shuts off the compressor...
it may be costly, but you should really take it in
